We’ve been on hiatus a few years but LSU Baseball is back. I’ll admit I hated watching Bianco and OM win but it’s always fun to watch ya’ll crumble in the post season. I hold grudges and ya’ll really gave it to us these last 3-4 years on our slow decline. We had a small bump in the road which diverted our dominance for a few years and now we return to our rightful place in BB (the top). Ya'll had a small bump in the road which diverted you from perpetual mediocrity for a few years and now you'll return to your rightful place in BB (middle of the pack). I want to take this opportunity to say F-off and I’m so glad we didn’t want Bianco. Guess Skip knows his BB. So step aside (you have no choice) and watch how a real team does it and always remember that LSU went to OMAHA in a rebuilding year; something OM couldn’t do these last few years -- at the pinnacle of your program's existence and even with an LSU man at the helm, imagine that.
No bandwagon fan here. I suffered and it hurt watching our guys go 0-2 and BBQ. Makes you appreciate the 90's. As De Niro said in The Fan, "Lets play some f*&King baseball."

Not late for pre-season. Ranking just come out. Last pre-season we were unranked. Even though we had a great season, our pre-season rankings of 1 or 2 across the board is symbolic of our return to greatness IMO. Remember ever year lsu would come out ranked top 3 and it was no big deal. Well, that has returned.

Arrogant OM baseball fans w/ their sense of entitlement made me want to puke. You earn that on the field and OM clearly did not, at least not by LSU standards. Now, all is right w/ the world.

Yeah but we're not living in a fantasy world. Seriously, we won half the NC in the 90's. At least we count 5 and don't retroactively apply polls to years the polls didn't even exist and then award ourselves NC.

Give me some credit guys. At least I started a thread bashing OM and not just another bama thread. Although me just mentioning bama in my own OM thread is quite the paradox.

Uhh...Yeah I'm pretty sure we wanted Bianco.
Also, Skip does know his baseball on the field and obviously made a good hire with CPM. But, don't forget that Skip was the one that hired Smoke and put us in this situation in the first place.

Dude, I've got no clue. I just go to the games to get drunk, chill with friends and heckle the other team's outfielders. I don't give a damn if LSU is number 2 in the preseason and Ole Miss is 23 or unranked or whatever. Baseball sucks anyways.

I went to like half to the home games last year..and i couldnt tell you if we won them or not, thats how much we actually care about baseball
