I wanted him fired this year but then we made the tournament. I wish we'd either be good or suck. I'm tired of the Jekyll and Hyde act.

Will the little short guy still shoot 25%? That's what it seems like he shot against LSU

I'd love to see either the PMAC renovated to add suites and club seating WITHOUT lowering capacity or else a new arena built around 17K with 50 or so suites and 2,000 club seats.

Nice stadium Black Bears!

Worked for Auburn.

Although he may complain about the high school size.

Isnt he literally the most successful coach over a long tenure we have ever had? I know we have gone further into the NCAA tournament, but I don't think we have had a coach that has been this consistant with W/L.

It won't seat 10K?

It looks fine and all, but I am surprised they built it so close to VHS. Pretty much eliminates any possibility of expanding VHS on the west side, doesn't it?

It has a lower capacity than their current arena, I think.

Lookin pretty! I've always wondered what kind Basketball arenas SEC schools could build if one day football just disappeared but the SEC still had all that money.

Imagine the SIZE of Rupp...

I don't see how they could do that. Capacity isn't all that important anyway. I'd be OK with losing a couple of thousand seats to put in some luxury seating that would bring in more $$.

Stranger things have happened, I guess, but that seems highly unlikely given the needs in other areas and the recent outlay for hoops with the practice facility and whatever upgrades there were to the PMAC recently.

If all the non-revenue sports are squared away after the tennis and gymnastics facilities under construction are done and we get a new swimming facility, I'd like to see the next big project be an aesthetic and ergonomic upgrade to Tiger Stadium, inside and out.

I have actually seen a plan that does just that. The problem is, do you really want to spend that kind of money on the PMAC, or spend a little more and build new, in a new location. A new basketball arena could serve as the anchor for the Nicholson Drive project...

And I mention location, because I don't think the PMAC is ideally situated. That space would be better used both for track and football. Tearing down the PMAC would open up the other athletic venues in the area to foot traffic. And the space could be utilized for gamedays.
