To State's credit

To their credit, they've somehow managed - in 100+ years of organized sports - to not win a single championship in any NCAA sanctioned sport. Ever.

As he mentioned the Big 7 and not the Big 8 he was implying the ancient time when the Big 7 existed and not the modern time of the B12. Are you not old enough to remember when the Big 7 existed and when the Big 8 existed?

Granted I am old, but not old enough to remember the old Missouri Vally in the first person. Original MV goes back to 1900 or so but the Big 6 was more around the Great Depression which puts it closer to my wheelhouse.

Iowa was some sneaky bastards tho

Part of the MVC and snuck in the B1G then left the MVC and Iowa State behind then blackballed the Cyclones for the next 100 years instead of having them join them in their new conference.Say what you will about Texas and Oklahoma but I don't think even they would stoop that low.
