So nice of Bammers to post link to 1992 SECCG which was the inaugural start. Of course Fla had lost a ton of talent off its DL/OLs from the year before...we lost two SEC games early on in the season and then got stronger as season went on....winning the first ever east title.

UF didnt have much of a run game in 1992 because of the patchwork OL...but we gave it a battle...I think 1992 was Spurriers best coaching job at UF because of the dearth of talent in the trenches. Our QB Shane Matthews had to run for his life most of the time.

In 1993 things changed with experience and we now had Terry Dean at QB. We started taking Bamas lunch money and pinching their sisters arse. In 2008 Bama was undefeated and ranked # 1, we met up in the SECCG...again...and ripped their hearts out with Tebow refusing to lose. In 2009 roles were reversed.

We might be meeting up in Hotlanta a few more times soon and this means the order has been restored. Our OL has been held together with bailing wire and string...but our defense has been stronger than death. Should be a good one with all the marbles at stake. Our new HC has a lucky streak about him...whereas Muschamp honestly was snakebit as hell...he must have walked under a ladder, had a black cat cross his trail, spilt salt and cracked a mirror. Bad voodoo hoodoo.

Heres to a good game and oh yeah...go frick yourselves.

Please don't reply with something about national titles. The only reason Bama has gotten into some of these title games is because of the clout the SEC has, particularly from the 03 Tigers, 06 Gators, 07 Tigers, 08 Gators - throttling favorites that were supposed to win it all.

And, it's because of Bama's melt against the Crying Meyers that the SEC is being questioned.

Of all the teams in the SEC, Bama has more to prove than anyone else. How do you pull in the top ranked class every year and lose as much as Bama? Hasn't Bama been favored in every game since 2009?

There's a lot of underachieving going on over there.
