I think I'm going to like it over here. I live in Auburn because that is where I chose to receive an education not because I prefer one school's athletics to the other. Don't worry about the picture, much to do about nothing. Thanks for the spirited welcome.

Let me get this straight, you not only live in Auburn but you go to school at Auburn as well? And you root for Alabama? You must be a huge tool in real life.

Do you at least know what the Denny Chimes is? We have some Bama posters here that had to be informed

Your right most are not bad, it is the influx of douchebags that have been flooding over to the SECR since bama won the NC. This place has gotten unreadable and has turned into nothing but a flame board.

That's what I said

Ok course it helps your case a lot in a flame war when you know more about their school's history then they do. That kind of ended all discussion as to who was right

True to his colors, IMO. From what I understand, Auburn offered a degree that he wanted for the career choice he was pursuing, and Alabama didn't offer that degree. If you grow up a fan of one team, but have to go to school somewhere else because your team's school doesn't have that particular degree - why change affiliations? Kind of silly to swap allegiances just because you choose to go to school somewhere else.

Neither did I. The whole thing started because he tried to tell me that LSU fans don't really care about the games all we want to do is show up and party, and I tried to explain to him that the tailgating here is just part of the culture and that him trying to tell me that he understood LSU fans better than we do would be like me trying to say that i understand what the Denny Chimes means to Alabama fans more than he did, to which he responded "What's the Denny Chimes". I was floored.

considering I am not from Alabama and have been to BDS twice. The last game I went to at bama was at Legion field prior to UT Chat last year. The only Bama games I am able to make other than that are here in baton Rouge I usually go to the Bama/LSu game here. Not as big a deal as he makes it out to be.

Up until a few years ago the last time we had been able to go to Tuscaloosa was when I was very very little...I didn't remember it. But I still knew what Denny Chimes was

to be accurate I was talking about pre 2000. That was not only my impression but pretty much it seemed most of the nation considering LSu was known for tailgating and not great football at the time.
