That's not what I heard man. I heard from a few guys pretty high up that the game was penciled in and Texas threw a hissy fit. Take this for what it's worth but I was told that Texas feels like they're in a "rebuilding" process and that a probable loss to Texas A&M could set them back years, and further perpetuate the belief on a national scale that Texas should get comfortable being the 4th or 5th best team in the state. Just what I was told by some guys that are in the know.
How does that knowledge make you feel by the way? That your beloved program is controlled by cowards that fear the fighting Aggies? In the SEC we aren't scared of aggy, we welcomed them. What is yalls deal? Why are you scared of the Aggies?

We didnt actually persue Saban. Charlie Strong was always are first choice.

I'm not an Aggy. My great uncle golfs with a Texas board of regents member though. My uncle doesn't really care about football, so he would have no reason to lie to me. He told me that fair and square the administration wanted no part of playing Texas A&M

A second time by the way. They pulled the same stunt in 2012 when we rolled over Oklahoma.
They puffed their chests out after beating a couple really bad teams and then got shellacked by TCU on Thanksgiving bringing them back down to reality.
Whatever, it's not important and no one will remember in a couple months time.

when did i say we were scared? they had the oppurtunitt to play us in the bowl game and they pussed out. regular season is a whole nother matter. We will play them whenever we want to
