A potential St Mary's 2nd round game wouldn't be easy.

This will be an incredibly entertaining game. Bama plays at the 6th highest pace averaging the most ppg in the country

St. Mary’s plays at 348th pace (362 teams) and gives up the least amount of ppg in the country. They also allow the least amount of opponents rebounding in the country telling me they take good shots and opponents don’t have opportunities to get out and run.

Will be a battle of game pace

I think the SEC did very well.

I honestly really love SC's draw. I think we thought we would be where Gonzaga is, and I want no part of Will Wade's team. Oregon can absolutely beat us, but I like the matchup. Then we get Creighton who I think we can beat in a slowed down game. Having to play either UT or UTjr would be fine with me. We can beat Tennessee.

AND...we wouldnt play Auburn or Bama until the national title game....so I feel confident

the week after Nebraska's AD left for Texas A&M….?!!?
That is no accident. Just like it isn't an accident that Barnes has Texas as a potential second round matchup.

I give them a puncher's chance since they dont have players distracted with accessory to murder charges this year.

Uconn got screwed.

UConn is the top seed in the East Region. Unfortunately for them, that region also includes three other top-tier conference champions: Auburn (SEC), Iowa State (Big 12), and Illinois (Big Ten).

Three teams that made the final 4 last year.

Three top 5 Kenpon teams

Auburn is a difficult matchup for them in the round of 16.

They got screwed, NC got a much easier bracket as the 4 seed.
I agree on UConn.

Iowa St smoked Houston and was the other choice on North Carolina getting a #1 Seed.

Iowa St goes from the 5th choice for a #1 seed to the 4th choice #2 Seed in UConn's bracket.

Like KY (3) , FL (7) & A&M (9), B12 has Kansas (4), Texas (7) & TCU (9) in the same bracket.

When are y'all gonna understand that conference tournaments only matter for bubble teams?

Conference tournaments definitely only matter for bubble teams, and sometimes not even then.

NCAA sent 3 teams from Alabama (AU, Ala, UAB) all to play first round in Spokane, Wa. The winners of the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, and Big East tournaments all in the East region with Auburn. NC loses to an unranked NC St team and stays a 1 seed.

Will more than 1 #1 seed make it to the Final Four? I think 2 make it...not sure which two, but 2 make it in.

Peacocks vs Gamecocks would be an awesome matchup. Then we can have another bird-vs-bird game (Oregon, Creighton, St. Peter's).

That being said, SCar cannot beat Creighton.

The SECT cost Tennessee a 1 seed and potentially a 2 seed for Creighton. They matter.
