Bama fans try to convince themselves that they aren't worried about the game.

Whiskey is consumed.

Auburn takes early lead with crazy intensity and JHS as loud as it's ever been.

Bama's first field goal results in a ball being tossed out of the stadium.

Fan/Hero is ejected for throwing the ball out, gets standing ovation from his fellow comrades as he is escourted out of the student section.

Whiskey is consumed.

Game is close at half with AU probably up a TD or FG.

Halftime includes mediocre band performances, and concession stand refills of coke are purchased to allow more whisky consumption.

Momentum shifts.

Alabama tries un-characteristic trick play, just because.

Bama fans in their seats use their many years of coaching experience to explain to the person next to them what's wrong with the play-calling.

Auburn gets a burst of momentum from a big sack or interception. This calls for whisky.

Alabama outlasts AU, win by a touchdown after a failed onside kick from Auburn.

Auburn student section stays for an hour singing alma mater while Bama fans celebrate (with whisky)

Alabama fans claim they were never worried about the game (psssst, they're lying)

I find Crimson Tradition and make him regret making such a terrible thread.

Whiskey is consumed.

Like how after an incomplete pass, we follow it up with a draw 90% of the time?

I was there...it was extremely loud...maybe not quite as loud as last saturday though.

And yes...it will be extremely loud next saturday too. I think you get into splitting hairs trying to say when it was louder.

AU no longer ejects folks for tossing the football out.

It will be loud, but I don't think it will have much of an effect.

I agree. It's not like these kids are going on theri first road game, or don't have concentration enough to tune things like that out. It might buy you a few penalties here or there, but i don't give much creedence to crowd noise having too much of an effect on the visiting team. I think it helps the home team get pumped up but thats about it.
