A mature Collins would say, "I love Louisiana, it is where I am from. I will always respect LSU as well. I hope for a good competitive game come Saturday"

I read a direct quote that he wants to prove he picked the better team. If he hasn't convinced himself of that as a junior, not sure he ever will.

Good post. I don't really have a problem with any of the back and forth (a little trash talking never hurt anyone) except for LSU fans wishing injury on the guy. That is taking it too far.

A lot of these guys have been knowing each other for a long time. That type of shite isn't surprising. LSU fans seriously need to get rid of the butt hurt over this kid.

These guys are all friends. Many of them, at least. They take all of this stuff a lot less seriously than us idiot fans. And handle it more maturely as well, most of the time. On the field, it's all respect. That's why we love to watch!

Right, but not the other LA guys on Bama's roster. Nor were others in the past. I wonder if that had something to do with Landon running his mouth about LSU every year. No, that can't be it, because then you'd have to put a sock in your faux indignation and victim playing.
