Florida has the Defense, I think they're 4th nationally in Total Defense, just ahead of Bama. Their problem has been on Offense, which is why a new QB at this point isn't a bad thing. The only way to go for them on Offense, is UP.

You're forgetting about your Senior OL from 2010?

you have an Ellis Johnson Defense

He will be fine now that Petrino is gone. Good lord, Petrino owned him. Ellis is still trying to get Bobby's mushroom tattoo off his lower back.

This Auburn team is a lot like the 2010 team
Besides the fact that this Auburn team doesn't have Nick Fairley or Cam Newton, it's basically nothing alike.

The 2013 Auburn team has better depth at running back, a less talented offensive line with more depth, a worse rush defense, a much better pass defense, a younger team overall, a completely different mind set with defensive scheme, has faced an easier schedule, hasn't had to come back and win the majority of games, already has a loss, etc... Should I continue?

We lost to Tennessee, every week there is the chance for us to get beat.

I think our first 5 off the bench were better overall in 2010, but I also think our depth (from top to bottom) is better in 2013. Not to say this group can't change my mind, they might have another year of playing together in their future. I expect Greg Robinson and Reese Dismukes to return next season.

All IMO, of course.

Kirk Herbsteit predicted Auburn to win the SEC in 2010, BEFORE he knew about Cam Newton. It was based on a Senior laden team. This team MAY have more talent, but they're just not as good as that 2010 bunch.

Meh, AU didn't have any 1st rounders across the line in 2010, they gave up 74 tfl (5.29 gm), and allowed 24 sacks.

Up till this game, this line has only allowed 41 tfl (4.1 gm) and 10 sacks, not to mention rushing for 320 a game.

While 2010 played great overall as a unit due to familiarity, they were far less talented IMO.

The dude makes his living by shocking with long shot picks. Everyone else predicted AU middle of the pack.

I think he was basing it on the obvious, kinda like my pick for Missouri to have a great season, when most people were picking them at the bottom of the SECE. Watch out for Mississippi State next year.

I'd be weary predicting Auburn to score 30+ and lose. It's the longest of long shots.

the fact that we'll likely not turn the ball over 3 times inside our own 21 will change, and that'll be enough to win

Shows you didn't watch the game. Fumbled opening kickoff inside the 20. Fumbled twice more on our side of the field.

21-0 before the 1st Q even ended. Plus, a lot has changed.

I personally think those are excellent picks. Hope it plays out just like that!
