Best Bama athlete of all time?

Current rankings

1. Herb
2. Mark Ingram
3. Roman Harper

In all seriousness, great showing tonight closing out the nuggets. 25 points on 8-10 shooting and elite defense.

18 in the 4th quarter!

Love Herb!! They are selling “Not on Herb” t-shirts at the Smoothie King Center. Already a fan favorite.

Taking over an NBA game in the 4th is not typical…kid is going to be special

Herb being gone is the reason our basketball team is so bipolar this year

Was saying in the draft process that he’s probably the next Draymond Green.

Get him a good pair of scorers in the backcourt to play beside and he will be the glue guy who makes it all work.

I get what you’re saying (and don’t disagree), but he so completely opposite of Draymond in demeanor and such a first class guy.

Herb has become a fan favorite in N.O. He is so popular that fans demanded the team store to start stocking his jersey. We love him with the Pels.

How was his outside shot at Bama? He has really impressed me with that part of his game in the NBA

Every time I hear or see his name I think of Herff Jones, the company that sells graduation stuff.

Just talking about his skill set. He really is a very similar type of forward.

Streaky but not to be disregarded by the defense. Again a lot like Draymond.

Herb reminds me more of Kawhi than Draymond. I miss him. He was so good defensively he would cover up a lot of our flaws on that side.

If we added him to this team we would be #1 in the country right now. No bullshite. Because we wouldn’t have lost all these games to teams we are better than with him

He's showing out. And I'll always refer to him as Herbert, in recognition of his grandfather.

Old school.

Was never a dependable 3 point threat but made enough to keep teams honest

Congrats on naming only Bama athletes that went pro in New Orleans.

You should remember Shaun Alexander, he ran for 300 yards on you guys.

Also Derrick Thomas.

Herb Jones wasn’t healthy last year or he would’ve been a player of the year candidate. He couldn’t shoot because his back was a mess, but he was too tough not to be out there.

His shot improvement from outside is still shocking. Rarely ever see a rookie make that kind of jump, but really happy for the guy.

I hated Herb as the opponent. Could tell in college he was going to translate well to the nba. Extremely hard worker with a lot of skills and raw potential in other areas. Was stoked pelicans got him. He covered jokic pretty well a few times last night which is wild to think about. He’s a very likable player and almost seems like a solid backup point with how well he sees the court.
