The betting odds basically translate to

Derrick Henry 75%,
Deshaun Waston ~15%
and then a host of others with like ~1%

quote:

The 2015 Heisman Trophy will be presented on Dec. 12, and the odds are good they will be handing it to Alabama running back Derrick Henry. Henry is the overwhelming favorite to win the award according to the latest odds from sports book Bovada. The Alabama star has 1/3 odds to take home the trophy, which essentially means there is a 75% chance he joins Mark Ingram as Heisman winners for the Crimson Tide.

He's going for 2000 and a Natty. The trophy is gravy. I'm proud of the guy.

He pretty much just needs a 100 yard game in an Alabama win, and it's his. He just can't disappear.

That's good. It's not good to worry about things you have no chance of obtaining.

If Alabama wins and he has a solid game the trophy is his.

The only way he doesn't win it is if if somehow Alabama loses (unlikely)

or if he has a very poor game despite a victory and Watson goes insane vs. UNC. This is where the bulk of that 25% comes from.
