The second option.
They came into the season not mentally prepared. The culture wasn't there and guys just weren't caring. Losing to Troy changed that in a massive way. I don't know if O is the right guy for the job and I think he deserves all the blame for losing to State and Troy but I give him full credit for turning the ship around.
Barring a full collapse, they'll destroy Ole Miss and give Alabama a game then blow through the rest of the schedule to 9-3

No earthly idea here. 2 historic bad losses and then beat Florida at the swamp and a top 10 auburn team.

Understand we havent experienced these type of growing pains in awhile.
For some reason we think we will be in the hunt every year this was finally the year reality hit in ugly fashion.
But instead of packing it in, this team is showing signs of fight, and might actually finish within the top 4 in conference, kind of like the year UGA lost to boise and was dejected but then won like 9 straight to get to the sec title game. Not saying LSU will get to Atlanta but they have seemingly turned what could have been an awful season into possibility a decent one

I hated the O hire since day 1, and still think he will fail at LSU.
But I will say this, to lose to Miss State by 30, and then to lose to Troy, and then take that team and manage to keep them together to beat Florida and Auburn in back to back weeks is impressive. I will give that to O
