Helluva game last night.

I was pissed our bullpen dropped the ball, but LSU has a wicked lineup this year at the plate. I thought we could keep y'alls bats bottled up for two more innings, but our pitching sucked arse down the stretch
I hope, but don't expect to get some pitching tonight and try to even it up.
We've had a good ride with a team stitched together with duct tape, bailing wire and spit. If we are going out, it might as well be to you Cajuns. Y'all have a solid team.

Yep, they have proven me wrong several times this year.
But... LSU is loaded. I love smack talk like anyone else, but the Tigers have a solid team without many weaknesses. Last night was a good example.
And thanks for Coach Cann. He is definitely a keeper.
IF we cannot pull it off, you guys will have me on your bandwagon.

I have always enjoy playing MSU more than any other team . shite- stirring trollers aside , I have nothing but respect for the MSU baseball culture. Good luck today and let the better team win.

Tiger fan thru and thru, but my vote goes to Your coach for SEC coach of the year. Little abrasive in the personality dept, but what he did with that club without any pitching depth was a great job imho

Andy's playing with a limited roster, no matter what happens the rest of this series you guys have one of the best up and comers. I think Mississippi St will start recruiting out of state more effectively with the new stadium and will be a main stay at the top of the SEC which will is great for the SEC.
Be patient guys but you're coach will have y'all in Omaha very soon if he can keep Gary Henderson.

Great game. Was surprised by some of the comments on here by LSU fans during the game but I guess every fans base has some of those kind of fans. Looking forward to tonight. Both teams are playing hard and giving it their all.

Recruiting too our school has never been a problem. This state's lack of lottery scholarships is what hurts us and Ole Miss against Arkansas and Louisiana. We have the name to recruit baseball players but if player x is recruited by OM/State and then a school from arkansas or Louisiana then they are going where their parents don't have to pay at least a %of their tuition, room and board.

Our knowledgeable baseball fan base has been talking all week about what an incredible job Andy has done with this MASH unit squad. It's is incredible you guys got out of Hattiesburg after losing first game as that regional was brutal with USM and USA being top 25 teams for much of the season.

Great rivalry between LSU & MSU, always has been. Good luck and if you win out I'll be pulling for LSU in Omaha.

I am laughing at the gators right now. They are playing for a trip to Omaha & their rinky dink stadium has huge gaps in the bleachers. With their history of winning, you'd think they would be needing a bigger park. The reference here is that this is in contrast to the crowd at The Box last nite & the future crowds at D.Noble next year & ongoing. Both teams have great fans & now great stadiums. The gators, and Fla. St. as well, have high school-like stadiums & poor fan support.
