Henry could go undrafted and never play a single down in the NFL, and he'd still have a 3-0 all time record vs. LSU.

You're trying too hard. I like how you, a random on the internet, knows more about talent than NFL evaluators who have him as the 2nd back in the draft.

And, it's odd that you keep avoiding George's question about what it says about your D that you let someone slightly above average run all over you.

Good God, this is stupid. Slightly above average running backs don't break a dozen damned records while being the focus of defenses because everyone knows he's going to get the ball play after play. The guy actually single handedly made LSU his bitch. He was a beast of a running back. Granted, I don't like his high running style and his slow first step, and have serious doubts about his ability to be great in the NFL (though I had the same doubts about Yeldon, so who knows?) but he was a helluva RB in college. I get you want to troll, but the secret is not to make yourself sound too stupid to be taken seriously in the process.

He's slightly above average. Everyone knows this,

It tells you the strength of this conference when a slightly above average running back becomes the first back in the history of the conference to rush for over 2,000 yards in a single season.

If he was slightly above average then Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson must have been either mediocre or bad.

Good lord. Herschel and Bo never played 15 games in a season. Not even close

Derrick Henry (2015) - 2,219 yards, 395 attempts (5.6 YPA), 28 TDs (1 every 14.11 carries)

Herschel Walker (1981) - 1,891 yards, 385 attempts (4.9 YPA), 18 TDs (1 every 21.39 carries)

328 more yards and 10 more TDs on 10 more attempts

Here's another fact. Henry basically won the Heisman by running up and down the field vs L5U. The Heisman front runner also played in that game. He put up a slightly below average effort. Stupid signs couldn't even help him and his savages.

He wouldn't be the first.

But tRant needs to get their shite straight. Is he going to be a bust (i.e. a disappointing high draft pick) or is he going to fall to the late rounds (i.e. just a productive college RB and nothing more)?

Would he be better in your mind if he had gotten to rack up yards against the likes of Syracuse, USCe, Eastern Michigan (the 127th ranked rushing defense) and Texas Tech (the dead last 128th ranked rushing defense)?

Hershel Walker finished 1981 with 385 carries for 1,891 yards. That was the single-season rushing record until Henry came along.

Derrick Henry finished 2015 with 395 carries for 2,219 yards. So Henry, playing in 15 games, carried the ball 10 more times than Walker did in '81, yet rushed for 328 more yards.
