I can't wait for aubbies to start blaming gus when they can't win with this super star future super bowl mvp qb
I've already got that one in my back pocket. If Auburn has a major letdown year after all this hype about Stidham and his talent, it will be all on Gus.

Does former Heisman Trophy contender Jeremy Johnson plan to watch?

I doubt it, Leonard's kind of busy this week with the NFL and whatnot.

Wonder if Auburn has contacted Ken Bjorge yet to get started on Stidham's statue?

I wish I could get updated pictures of the faces of certain members of the rant as they watch Auburn games this season and week by week have the hope slowly drained from their faces. The disappointment in their eyes as they realize the baseless BS lines the rant has been spouting all off-season to try and help them degrade Auburn is just that, baseless bull shite.
You are really setting yourself up for disappointment. Why not wait until he actually accomplishes something before anointing him as the next Peyton Manning. It really can't be that hard to just wait it out a couple more weeks. Would really save you some heart ache if he doesn't live up to expectations.

How many games did your last preseason Heisman winner last as the starter?

Because then he wouldn't be able to drive certain lsu posters to the nuthouse.

Peyton Manning is who Stidham reminds you of?

They hardly ever melt. They just run and hide like cockroaches when the lights get turned on on, until basketball season.

They gonna ask him how he feels knowing that a Gus Malzahn led offense is going to ruin his chance at actually winning the Heisman?

Actually I think the Coker comparison is probably closer to Stidham than any others. Based on equally limited data, Stidham seems to be the better passer and Coker had superior running skills. But the preseason hype seems very similar. While us Boogs on the Rant are having fun running with it, you should note that, like with Coker two years ago, most of the buildup is coming from unbiased sources.
Coker did alright, but he had a much better supporting cast and a proven set of coaches behind him. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.
