I think this race is a lot closer than people think. JFF has to win out. Ive been reading and watching a lot of sports analysts and it seem like they want him to get it..

JFF still needs that signature moment, like he got in BDS last year... that's probably not going to happen this year. AJ will likely have two more opportunities for signature moments.

I don't necessarily agree with it, but without it he's going to be viewed like the air-raid QBs of old who put up ridiculous numbers but no hardware.

So what happens if Florida ruins Jameis Winston's season? Not that it will happen, but would that nuke his Heisman candidacy like Baylor nuked Colin Klein's?

Last year that might have been true. This year Winston has proved he is capable of just as much. Plus Winston has Manziel being a complete arse during the offseason working with him. I really don't think Manziel wins it solely because of that. He wouldn't have gotten it last year if he would have had the same offseason crap and the in game antics he's done this year. I really think his play gets him on the ballot and probably deserves to win it, but his actions and attitude disgust people so he won't win it. I know that's not what the award is for, but it's going to be in the back of peoples minds when they vote.

If Jameis stumbles and loses, it would be Manziels to lose. He would have to win out and play well.

If Jameis stumbles and loses, and Manziel loses a game, it's wide open and could very possibly be AJ if he shines in the Iron Bowl and SECCG.

AJ has two big stages left while Manziel and Jameis probably both have one. Not counting the ACCCG as big stage.

The meltdown if AJ wins would be fantastic. That said, he won't win.

whether its admitted or not, AJ has a legit chance to win the award and seems to be gaining traction. Depends on what he does in these last games as to how serious a contender he ends up being. He has comported himself reasonably well living under the microscope of fame and done everyting his team needed him to do.

Give it to tha boi... 3 in a row, unprecedented

I agree, Manziel is the most exciting player in college football by far..However unless FSU stumbles, i think Winston will win it..Could get close though
