I don't think it matters. He plays for SC, who will never be in any title hunt, and won't get the national attention needed.

Lattimore won't win it because SC will lose games this season. But anyone who doesn't think he should be in the contenders list is dumb.

He keeps putting up numbers he'll get some talk.

All those QB's have something in common that Wilson does not. Let's see if you can figure this out on your own.

I'd put RG3 over Weeden, even if Baylor has lost a game...

Heisman winners don't lose to Kansas St. And there are many more losses to come for RG3.

Right I'm just saying he should be on the list with the #s he's put up. Not that he is a favorite

However you want to word it, he will not have a chance at winning. He will put up gaudy numbers occasionally, but for a team that is inconsequential. Nationally, sportswriters won't pay attention to him.

Yep. It's 100% on Griffin that his team's defense gave up over 30 points.

The Heisman is such a joke of an award now. Most outstanding player =/= best RB or QB on a top 5 team. Griffin has had an absolutely sick season so far.

Yep, the only exception is if a guy has a unbelievable year with like 60 touchdowns, ala Tim Tebow. His team lost 4 games, I believe.

No bro. Can't you see with all those carries he has that Alabama just pads his stats? The voters will see through that shite

It cus north texas doesnt know how to play football.

He will have the numbers, but majority of that was cus lacy and trent were not getting touched by north texas.

I dont think anyone from the sec is going to win it.

Trent should pile up numbers over the next 3 games before getting the spotlight in November.

I don't make the rules. Griffin is not a Heisman contender.

I agree with Robot Santa. RGIII is unreal. Best player so far this season.

Baylor will get blown out at Oklahoma State next week and his Heisman campaign will be finished.

Let me end this argument before it begins:

@Penn State: 26 att 111 yds 2 TD's.
Arkansas: 17 att 126 yds, 3 rec 85 yds 1 TD
@Florida: 29 att 181 yds, 2 TD's

Bama has only played 2 unranked teams and Trent had 13 and 11 carries in those games.

Um, I think we are leaving off an obvious contender. Ryan Tydlacka, the punter for UK.

That, and he's doing it without an offensive line. Can you imagine the numbers he'd put up with a good line?

Gosh. Maybe 700 or 800 a game?

B. Weeden,

Weeden is the darkhorse IMO. If OSU can get to the bedlam game undefeated that will be a heisman showdown matchup with him and Landry Jones.
