That will be Gregg Marshall's destination. Please hire Crean Alabama.

By hearing, you mean "read on Twitter." That could be a 16 year old troll.

Wouldn't be surprised for it to be Brad Stevens' destination

Yep, Brad Stevens is from Indiana, but he is doing good with the Celtics, so idk if he would leave for them.

That's the only person I could see taking that job besides Marshall. Stevens might actually rather be at Indiana than the Celtics.I Can imagine that would be an Indiana boy's dream job. Maybe more so than the Pacers.

The fact that he's from Indiana, and the Celtics are a train wreck (though not because of him).

Why would he want to come back to college? He's doing okay with what he was given in Boston. Plus with all of their draft picks, he will basically be able to build the team how he wants it.

Generally, people only come back to college from pros because they fail; had Brad's ultimate plan been to get a better college job, he would have stuck around Butler a few more years.

8th seed in the East if the playoffs started today. They're young, pick-heavy in the coming years, and in an absolutely shitty division.

He's a COY candidate. The Celtics traded away their two most talented players and got better. Pop was just quoted praising his coaching talent. The Celtics have a bright future with young talent and lots of draft picks. He reaffirmed his commitment the Cs a couple weeks ago. So basically the fact that he's from Indiana.

Quote form Brad three months ago LINK
quote:

"I’ve committed to being here," Stevens told me before Thursday’s practice at the team’s facility. "I’ve already left a situation once and that was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to choose to do. This is something that as long as they want me to be here, this is what I want to be doing and I’m going to give it everything I’ve got. I know it’s all specific to the rumor mills and the discussion of one spot. I think they’ve got a good coach who’s done a helluva job. He doesn’t deserve that speculation. "I’m the head coach of the Boston Celtics," Stevens continued. "This is the job. This is where I am. This is what I want to do really well and I’m committed to being as good as I can every single day for the Celtics."

Hoping Indiana job is about to be open so Bama has more competition for the best available coach this year as it would simply crush my self esteem if Bama dominated LSU in another sport they way they do Football

If Alabama is as serious as it sounds, they will make it very hard for Marshall to turn them down unless the dream job is open.
