I know Allen is only a junior and probably returning, I think most of the skill positions return except for Keon Hatcher. OL and DL seemed to be the biggest issues for you guys this year, I'm not sure about your OL but didn't the DL lose a few key guys coming into this season? Do you see these units improving enough next year?

Depending on the bowl Bert will either match last year's 8-5 record, or the 7-6 record from two years ago. What are you expecting from him next year? Is it reasonable to say that anything less than 7 or 8 wins and he is gone? What if it's another 7-6/8-5 season? Is he gone then also?

We also lose Drew Morgan and Jeremy Sprinkle (along with two other senior WRs but they aren't big losses IMO). It will be nice to have Williams/Whaley back at RB. Getting Brandon Martin was a big boost plus we also have the #1 JUCO TE coming in.

The DL only lost 1 off of the entire 2-deep prior to this year but the OL lost 3 guys. We'll be losing a lot of senior DL, but they were pretty underwhelming anyways so who knows how that will go. We could be switching to a 3-4 defense so there's that. We lose Skipper on the OL and are waiting to see if our center Frank Ragnow declares for the draft or not, but I think he comes back. Overall though I think we should improve on the OL but that's not saying much lol. Hoping we get a new DL coach.

It's really hard to tell but I just don't have much confidence in Robb Smith to improve the defense dramatically right now. That will mean another 8-5 type season but I don't think it will be enough for Long to get rid of Bielema just yet even if the fans want it.

I'll be happy if the United States is still orderly enough to actually have a football season.

We will suck arse again and probably have a worse defense and less potent offense.

Program has fat-lined.

Not expecting improvement over this year's record, but hoping to see improved play in the OL and D.

Skill positions will be good.

When he had the right players, I remember his weak side triangle being very effective. Allowed Arkansas to throw quantity at the strong side and quality at the weak side.

Offense should be good but will need the new WR's to come through for us. OL will be replacing Skipper but talent is there to replace him. TE will revolve to be a strength again.

Defense has got to find some players, we could struggle next year as well and be up and down just like this year in the W/L column. If we repeat this years record it will be tough on CBB. He just needs to fix the "D" and find Skippers replacement and we should be OK, if not.....?

You think the Libs will keep melting that bad? Surely they will have worked through the 5 stages of grief by kickoff.

We lose 4 of our top 5 receivers. That is the only group that should definitely take a step back on the offensive side of the ball but I like the guys we have behind them. Having a great QB/OC will help in this area.

The Oline is still going to be a huge question mark but I don't think it is unreasonable to assume they improve as a group. The DLine does lose some significant players but it seemed like the majority under performed. I expected this to be an area of strength going into the season but obviously was wrong. I think it is hard for anyone to judge the defense too much with up coming changes.

I'm not sure what it will take to get him fired but I feel he needs to have an 9 win year in regular season play for him to regain confidence from the fan base. 8 will probably keep him around for another year though.

your expectations

Really depends on how the defense performs. Im not sure I want to see Smith return. There has also been talk of Arkansas going to the 3-4 scheme.

what do you have coming back next year

Returning Starters
OL- Frank Ragnow
OL- Johnny Gibson
OL- Hjaldte Froholdt
OL- Brian Wallace
TE- Austin Cantrell
WR- Jared Cornlius
FB- Hayden Johnson
RB- Rawleigh Williams/Devwah Whaley
QB- Austin Allen
The offense will lose a big rotation of WRs in Morgan and Hatcher mainly. Also Reed and Hollister are gone. We have recruited well at the position so look for Jordan Jones and LaMichael Pettway to step in a fill shoes. Also must consider the JUCO guys we just signed in Brandon Martin and John Nance.

Defense, doesn't really matter. But we return a lot here also.
DT- Sosa Agim
DE- Randy Ramsey
LB- Dre Greenlaw
LB- Dwayne Eugene
CB- Ryan Pulley
CB- Henre Toliver
CB- Kevin Richardson
S- Deandre Coley
S- Santos Ramirez
The DL rotation will still be pretty deep. We lose Ledbetter, Wise, Johnson, and Winston out of the two deep rotation. But we will still have Agim, Ramsey, Beanum, Roesler, Capps, Jackson, and Watts. So it isn't too bad. Linebackers lose Ellis, but thats it. He was a pretty big liability in coverage and against mobile QBs. Pretty much all of the secondary returns.

Again, defensively, its not saying much. Hopefully some sort of change is made on that side of the ball in coaching capacity.
