I breathed a sigh of relief today. I just knew Ole Miss would lay an egg today and embarrass the conference. But I was wrong and damned happy about it.
Georgia looked like a team that could’ve won the playoff today. Not a surprise. Congrats. For Auburn well I’d just put things in perspective. I didn’t think you’d make a bowl this year. Freeze will get the talent in no time. He did at Ole Miss. just not overnight.
Now LSU, Tennessee & Bama is on deck...respectively. Time to close out with wins.

Congrats Reb. Y’all looked good. The day was a resounding display of football prowess. Now these Detroit Lions need to put these Cowboys to sleep and I can go to bed.

The media and Vegas were pushing Penn State like crazy. Most of that was based on the supposed superiority of the Big Ten+. Why don't they just stop with the old term and call it the Big Twenty, since that's how many schools they have now?
At no time did I think Ole Miss couldn't win the game leading up to kickoff. Missouri led the way, dominating Ohio State, as Michigan did not. As soon as Dart and company started moving the ball easily, I knew that Penn State's #1 defense would not shut them down.
I also expect 'Bama to shut Michigan down. The Big TWenty has tremendous media support; mainly because there is huge resentment of the SEC and its success in football, basketball and baseball.
In the past twenty years, the following SEC teams have all won natties in at least one of the three major sports: 'Bama, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Vandy, South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, Auburn and Miss. State.
The SEC continues to be the best all-around sports league in the country.

Without our best OL and TE on the field, no less...

You nailed it! That defense was no where near the #1 defense we’ve seen this year. Michigan beat Penn State 24-15. I can’t see them coming close to Bama. It will be ugly.

I know Saban is at his best when he has plenty of time to scheme. I do expect 'Bama to complete the trifecta that Mizzou and Ole Miss started.
