It's a $500 fine if you're smoking anywhere on the Arkansas campus. You know, something about smoking being bad and D-bag smokers leaving litter everywhere and yelling Go Tigers and shite. Don't worry, it's not targeted at other fans.. they just apparently don't realize you can't smoke or use tobacco products there.

Sad is all I can say. Fined for smoking cigs?

Not at all. A cop spotted a flask in my pocket as I was going up the stairs.

What do you have SECR? Been arrested during gameday? Home or away? If away do you feel like you were targeted? What was it for?

In 1992, I was a 21 years old Bama student. My roommate was 25ish. Anyway, we started drinking Vodka very early in the AM in preparation for the big game. I simply don't remember the opponent.

We then walked to the game --- no driving. My friend and I were walking along University Blvd. in T-Town, & he tripped on the roots of a great Oak Tree, and fell right in front of a couple of cops. He was arrested and taken to the jail. I was not even though I was certainly full of Vodka very similarly to him. I guess there was no probable cause regarding me ...

Anyway, I went to the game, watched it ... Bama won of course that year, went home and went to party / sleep. The next day I picked him up in county Jail as I was told he would not be released until the next AM.

I thought this might be one of those Jeff Foxworthy jokes. If you've ever been arrested on Game Day, you might be an Ole Miss fan and/or a redneck.

OT offered some interesting stories.

What do you have SECR? Been arrested during gameday? Home or away? If away do you feel like you were targeted? What was it for?

If I posted all of this story all you would see in reply it "tl:dr"...but to summarize:
Place: Jackson Miss

Time: 1986 or maybe 87

Game: Tommy Hodson carves up ole piss in that shithole stadium

Problem: to much fire water and blow, couldn't find my way to LSU student section

Result: handcuffed to be taken to jail, but Jackson police let me talk them into "walking back to my hotel"

Issue with that: I was blacked out when we got to the stadium so I had no idea where my hotel was...

One day I'll have to post the adventure of that walk...

This is why Ole Piss is the my most hated rival...I wouldn't spit on ole piss if they were on fire.

Please do already. What did you encounter during that adventure? Without knowing, I can safely assume you met no hotty toddy ladies on that walk ... nor gentlemen for that matter ... as there was no grove in sight ... or perhaps you did in ways that would surprise people.

Please do share.

You are correct...no hotty toddy ladies for sure...
within the first mile, a brother was hanging outside some bar, he called me over, we burnt a fat one and tried to solve all of the racism issues in Jackson and Shreveport...

Got chicken at a greasy chicken joint...

Kept moving...stoping at every phone booth to try and use a phone book to find my hotel and where the hell I was...upon leaving each booth, I would light the phone book on fire...

Finally about midnight, I saw a car full of LSU fans make a left on some road, I followed, and thank the good lord, there was my hotel...

I walked in the door looking like death warmed over and my buddies said, "where the frick have you been...get changed we are going out"...and so we did....

No but I was arrested the night before the 2003 LSU-Ole Miss game in the Oxford square. Some Ole Miss jackass punched me for saying "Go to Hell Ole Miss". I hit him back and the cop of course let the Ole Miss kid go and arrested me. My dad saw the whole thing and told the cop about it. They cop then arrested him too. A huge crowd gathered around and taunted us. Sitting in jail later with my dad, after about 45 minutes of total silence between us, he looks over at me and says "You know, it would be a lot easier for me to get you out if I wasn't in here with you."

We got out at about 5am. It was a 2:30 game. Didn't go to sleep, started tailgating early, then witnessed one of the great wins in LSU history. The charges were later dropped.

While all that sounds like a hell of a story, that's not even close to the shocking part of it. The part of the story that yall wouldn't even believe to be true even if I told you is who was driving that truck that hit me. But that will have to wait until another day.

OK ... main thing ... YOU and all else (it seems) were safe ... please, please, please do share the driver's name of that other truck when you get a chance.

Regardless of whether you do ... I can safely say I am here this moment due to fates / luck / graces , etc.

This 1.5 mile home is very often the undoing. We plan so well before the event .. spend the night at "Bill's house, etc" ... but 1.5 miles seems short ... the floor is harder than my bed ... yada yada yada ... you are right ... we have to be smarter.

am 1000% positive that my arrest story (stemming from the game that I posted on page 1) can top any story from this thread.

Unless the guy that hit you was Chipper Jones or something, mine is better.

You're right, and I make no rationalizations about my behavior. I will to this day say it was the dumbest and most regretful decision of my life by FAR. It was completely and utterly stupid and there's no other way to say it. I messed up and I've taken responsibility for my actions and I have paid the price and learned from my mistake.

But there's no way I will say who the other driver was, unless I get completely shitfaced (at home and not driving of course lol) some time down the road. I will say that it is someone very well known and someone that people would automatically say "no way, you're shittin me".
