FWIW, day 1 of auctions already on MSU's website. Will be online for bid until next Friday.

As of right now, after being online for less than 2 hours, 24 hats = $4890 for Boston victims.

and this number has more than tripled in less than an hour. The total is around $15, 320 at the moment.

Some people are complete idiots when it comes to online auctions. I love them when I'm selling an item but I hate them when I am looking to steal something. I never understand the guy that "picks" at the price. My strategy is to know what my max is then wait until the last 10 seconds to bid. By doing this it doesn't give that other guy time to decided whether or not he wants to bid again.

This isn't your typical auction. Nobody is trying to "steal" an item. This is solely a fundraiser.
