A priest told me it was silly to pray for a team to win a football game. But, to pray for Notre Dame to win was always a good thing.

? You are close to being beaten by LSU in football, basketball 2x and in baseball this year. You better hope you beat us in baseball.

No big deal when you play a certain team yearly. Those streaks will happen. Seems odd that a random school OOC is so dominant.

We play notre dame a good bit actually. Baseball and football at least. We always seem to get matched up in bowl games and they squeak out a bs win that they know they shouldn't have. frick notre dame. Oh yeah, do I need to mention the bs officials loving them too?

Ummmm ... no. Football I think they have a 2-1 series lead but we have a winning record against them in basketball and baseball I'm pretty sure. And we played them a lot back in our independent days. One of the best college basketball games I have ever seen in person was back in the 70s, '74 I think, when our Alex English, Mike Dunleavy, Brian Winters led Frank McGuire team beat their Adrian Dantley, John Shumate lead Digger Phelps team ... both were Top 5 at the time. I can't remember if Bill Laimbeer was on that ND team or not - I don't think he was.

Those were some epic battles back then.

This has all happened since I started a new job at an office where both my superiors are Notre Dame grads. It's been miserable.

Notre Dame won, 72-68. South Carolina was #14.

We've never played them in football. We're 43-19 against them in basketball and 7-3 against them in baseball.

Then maybe it was '73 or '75. You try remembering as much as I do when you're my age.

I still do pretty good ... and get close.

It had to be in that time frame because I was building my first house around then and I remember not working on the house that day, and struggling with the decision not to work on a Saturday ... that game was the priority.

I may be getting it all jumbled-up but I wanna say ND had broken UCLA's winnijg streak ... but that kay have been the year before, I'm not sure.

Yes, all LSU posts must contain a form of ref-whining. Thanks for adhering to policy.

While losing to Notre Dame is embarrassing, they're both certainly much much better sports programs than Texas A&M is. Texas A&M just all around sucks.

I'm not sure about baseball, but Arkansas has never faced Notre Dame in football and we're 1-0 against them in basketball. The basketball win was for 3rd place in the 1977 NCAAT Final Four.

We do have a football game scheduled @Notre Dame in 2020, though.

I have no idea. Measure only championships, not beating some school in Indiana

Has your team ever been in a 25 year drought from beating LSU in football?
