Miles was forced to recruit Harris because he was the top prospect from Louisiana. Had he passed on Harris and Harris succeeded Miles would have been burned at the stake.

Please explain how Miles was supposed to pass on Harris considering he was the top in-state QB prospect.
If Harris had went to Alabama you would have crucified Miles. So Miles signs him and he never makes the jump from HS to SEC.
