Alabama OOC opponents

Virginia Tech (2)
Penn State (2)
Duke
Clemson
Florida State
Michigan
West Virginia

They're not exactly tearing it up nationally, with the exception of FSU, who was still coached by Bowden at the time.

I know these were current rankings when game was played..but final ranking IMO doesn't matter.

yea, the fact that TCU ended up 4-8 doesn't matter at all!

Les has done less with more than any coach in the SEC and has lost more SEC games that he shouldn't have than any other coach in the SEC, but congrats on the non-conference record (in the regular season).

Has your football coach lost a regular season non conference game?Les has done less with more than any coach in the SEC and has lost more SEC games that he shouldn't have than any other coach in the SEC, but congrats on the non-conference record (in the regular season).

He's played your coach closer than any other in the country - 7 of the 9 meetings coming down to the final minute, and 6 of those in OT or the final seconds. And an eighth was tied at 17 in the fourth quarter.
103 victories in 10 years and in the Top 3 in CFB in victories since he's been here is "doing less with more than any other SEC coach" ???????????????????????????????????
How in the everloving F to you arrive at that idiotic conclusion ????

He leads the SEC in SEC victories in the last decade also.

I agree he's lost some SEC games he should have won: UT in OT in '05, UK and Arky in '07, both in Triple OT, and of course Bama in '08, '12, and '14; BUT, he's also won some he wasn't SUPPOSED to win - Ole Miss in '14, Bama in '10 and maybe '11, Fla in '07 and '10, etc.

Saban has brought in the No. 1 recruiting class just about every year he's been at Alabama, yet in 8 years, he has 3 conference championships.

I don't agree with this. He IS just a luckier version of Richt though.

Theoretically, if a coach has the most talented roster in the country every year, shouldn't he win the NC every year?

If he doesn't, wouldn't that mean he lost a game he should have won?

And theoretically, my aunt would be my uncle if she had balls instead of a gash.

Any coach that wins a NC with any losses on their schedule relies on 'luck'

So is there another 2 loss team that even played for a title recently?

Did Saban's 3 bowl losses all occur in the Sugar Bowl?

No.
Then again, Saban has lost more than 3 bowls.

You should just go ahead and kill yourself for even typing that out.
