Arky's will have to chime in but it wouldn't surprise me if Felix approached 1000 to go along with Dmac.

Many, many times.

1978 USC almost had a 2,000 and 1,000 yard rusher.

Bush and White 2005 USC were both way over 1,000 yards...their total yards together are the most in NCAA history for a single season.

Pretty sure Nevada had 3 in one year a few years back.

Yeah, it's a nifty little accomplishment, but one that's been done several several times over history.

Yea but that was as Jr.s... Mac & Jones had 1700+ in '05 as Fr. & Gurley/Marshall will pass that today...

Please...the OP was trying to suggest that UGA's duo was historic in some way. It doesn't even seem like Marshall is gonna hit 1000 yards. Meanwhile, McFadden and Jones both smashed the 1000 yard mark two years in a row.

Because Nutt hadn't changed the offense yet.

He was asking if the feat had been done before. He didn't come in saying "Our RBs are on the verge of something truly historic!!!!!".

Good for them. Why are you so disturbed by him asking if something had been done before? He's just excited that our young backs could do something pretty cool.

Yeah this thing happens almost every year. Two guys getting 1000 yards in a season really isn't rare any more especially with teams playing 13 games a year.

Please... I was asking a simple question and got the resounding answer I was looking for: yes, it has been done. And quite frankly, it would be pretty damn spectacular company for two true freshmen

Don't be so damn mad just because your team did it years ago.

Wisconsin did it 2-3 years ago. I think they had a 3rd RB (Montee Ball) who finished 4 yards shy of 1000.

Apparently I shouldn't ask questions if it has any sort of attachment to the team I cheer for, lest it be construed as ignorant grandstanding.
