Why didn't Georgia go to the Sugar after the '12 season. Y'all were practically five yards from a national championship and beat Florida. I know bowls typically don't pick the loser of the game, but Florida went in 09 after getting blasted by bama

Bc we had 2 losses while UF only had 1, and we just lost our most recent game. I think most would agree UGA was a better team than UF, we also beat them, but when you look at the black and white numbers it would've been really difficult to put us there.

UF in 09 was different because they were undefeated up to that point and were head and shoulders above the next best team in the league.

Florida was 11-1 and had just beaten a top 5 FSU team. It was shitty because we beat Florida head to head, but they were ahead of us in the BCS rankings after our close loss to Bama and went to New Orleans instead of us.

The bigger shame was how few fans they brought to the Sugar Bowl that year.

What about winning 4 sec titles in a 13 year span?

Big fricking deal! Auburn will have 4 in the last 11 years after we win it again this year

When's the last time a team won the SEC in consecutive years? It's been a while hasn't it?

Repeating champs is so 20 years ago. 0-8 to champion is the new fad

Yeah that sounds right. The best dynasty of the last 15 years couldn't do it but AU is going to. Right.
