It was a terribly called game for both teams. Someone has to review the job the refs do.

Only 2 refs max would be in position to see if a guy stepped out. You can't call out of bounds when you're 20 yards from the sideline.

Even if the on field refs missed it the replay official should have seen it. As somebody said earlier there were many mistakes by the officials. The ones LSU got away with off the top of my head were some false starts and Etling getting sacked while trying to throw the ball away and they called it incomplete.

The announcers mentioned that, and after showing the replay a couple times said it was not a horse collar even by the new rules.

That might be the case, I only watched it live. Have just seen so many mention the old rule and have no idea it was changed.
