That is an obvious penalty in plain view. No obstructed view or traffic that would prevent the official from seeing the foul.
There is no argument or explanation otherwise; it should have been called.

There should be some kind of official rating system, and officials that get poor ratings should be penalized and/or demoted.

It's obvious the SEC refs cheat for Auburn and Alabama.

Obvious to even a blind person and with ref standing 10-12 feet away at most. Someone needs to find out ref's connections and see what color underwear he has on...reddish with elephant trunk perhaps?

If the shoe had been on the other foot, you would be screaming bloody murder. I actually rarely see Bama fans bitching about missed calls, and they happen to us fairly often. Of course there are a few outliers like, SEC crazy, but for the most part, we don't whine.

Of course Bama fans don't complain about the officiating...ya'll get 90% of all calls in your favor and 100% of the no-calls...

I find it interesting that some other fan base besides LSU is complaining about Bama's officiating bias...

Two personal foul penalties, one of them being a dead ball penalty.

The play is over when the ball is dead so your scenario doesn't meet the criteria.

Nice fail

You realize Bama had almost 3 times as many penalties called on them as Ole Miss? We go through this every single time. The facts simply do not bear out your conspiracy.

They called a blocking in the back on Bama on the final freaking drive putting them in a hole to begin with. Look I know it sucks losing to Bama all the time but you can't have it both ways

defending the refs are all they have to hold on to right now. Moral victory for them.

Well, I don't think we should fault bama for protecting their own.

What happened to the guy who defended the no call by claiming the Ole Miss player had on an eye shield?

The delusion is bad in that bunch.
