Tennessee stadium has seen way worse in the last couple of seasons.

Any specific conference game you went to that you are referring to? I was at the UT/SC game last year in Neyland. Didn't look like that.

I 100% agree that the insane weather had something to do with it, but the "I know you are but what am I" counter is classic.

But please, enlighten us with attendance at UT games the "last couple seasons".

It takes upwards of 4.5 hours to play a college football game now with all the commercials, TO's, reviews, halftime and grab assing. Big TV is ruining the game for the ticket buyers IMO. Then While sitting through these marathon games we have to listen to more commercials on the Ginormous Trons! How can the NFL play a game in 3 hours?

I swear, it felt like there was a TV timeout after every fricking play on Saturday. It was infuriating.

It was cold as frick. Went from 80 degrees to snow in about 2 days. I stuck it out in the upper deck til we got the onside kick.

Coldest game I've ever been to. Couldn't blame people for leaving early.

Umm, no it hasn't. Not even close. As bad as we have been, we still have great attendance game in and game out.

You realize there's still at least 60K+ in all those pictures right?

I noticed the empty stadium. I guess they just aren't very rabid football fans at SC. You wouldn't see the Green Bay Packers fans leaving like that.

People just aren't excited when Tennessee comes to town. It's the equivalent of Kentucky/Vandy

Well sorry we don't have fricking Wisconsin weather here normally.

If we're having a good season and it's that cold, it would still be noticeably sparse in some areas. A lot of people will easily choose a big screen tv, plus heat, plus freedom to drink alcohol and smoke over going to a cold arse game during a rebuilding year.

Sorry, not sorry.

I thought the Yellowstone Caldera had erupted when I heard the dogs barking around 5:30 Saturday morning and I looked out the window and saw what I thought was ash falling ... I thought it was volcanic ash.

I was half asleep.

Did you check-out the pictures on page two after the sun came up?

We ended up with just over 5 inches.

Yeah, that's a lot of snow for anywhere in the continental US on November 1, much less Columbia

The snow def. threw people off and that was the coldest football game I have ever been to, it was brutal. I think the fact that no one saw the snow and cold arse weather coming played a big part. People weren't prepared. Hell it was in the 80's about 3 days before the game. I think had people been expecting it, the crowd would have been better.
