Alabama is more talented than they really are right now?

On paper, they should be the most talented team in CFB history just based on recruiting rankings.

OM seemed faster and more athletic last night...they seemed more talented.

Have we been sold a bill of goods about a Bama team that just is not as talented as they used to be in the 2011-12 time frame?

I still believe they have elite talent, but think some recruits may be vastly overrated, in part, because they committed to Bama.

Some Bama commits that come in are severely overrated by the services. Most are legit though.

Some Bama fans keep asking why Barnnett isn't getting time at QB because he was so highly rated by the services. People in California that saw him play in high school said he was an average high school QB. And those Cali people are right.

There are overrated recruits on every single team in America. It isn't specific to Alabama. Does the Bama Bump exist? Maybe. I don't know. It's a reasonable theory that intentionally inflating a teams recruits drives up fan participation through either paid subscription or just talking about a certain service. However this wouldn't be strictly for Alabama. If you buy that's how it goes, why limit that potential revenue stream to just one fanbase?

I think the 2013 class is starting to bite us in the arse. Nine players that signed with us on NSD aren't on campus anymore. That doesn't include the one JUCO.

We really miss the best wr to come out of college since Julio Jones. Hell I miss Blake (shake and bake) Sims.

LOL. shite is getting thick up in here. How many elite WR's have you guys signed in the last few years? Tons. They are just not getting developed.

Look at the difference in what TCU does with what little talent they get compared to Bama. It is a unreal comparison.

You have the guys. You are just not getting the goodie out of them. The coaching staff is spoiled with talent

This is why you should always take rankings from "Rivals" with a grain of salt.

The question should be...Why hasn't the coaching staff been held accountable?

Supposedly you have 1) the greatest recruits EVER; 2) the best facilities; 3) a great fan base; 4) unlimited funding...and we know factually they have the SEC HQ overseeing 1) scheduling; 2) officiating; 3) sanctions; and 4) complince...so what's the excuse?

I'm shocked by Bama's Secondary. They have been ordinary for what seems like years now. It's difficult to imagine Saban allowing corners and Safeties to play so poorly.

The lack of talent at DB and QB are shocking to me. DB most of all because that is supposedly Saban's area of expertise.

It happens for a lot of teams.

When Texas was filling up their recruiting classes before summer was even over, there was a guy that worked for Rivals that admitted they would throw a 4th star on a guy that was no better than a low 3-star kid just to make the Texas fans happy since throwing high star ratings brings in more fan subscriptions.

LOL. You are such a pitiful troll.

What about the constant flow of Bama players heading to the NFL every year now. Is the NFL also Bumping Bama players?

Have you seen our schedule this year?

And officiating? Are you kidding me right now? The officials really helped us last night. didn't they?

Go back to the Tiger Rant. You will probably hide there after the first week of November anyway.

I had the same moment the other day in the Brandon Harris thread. Oddly enough, Harris still hasn't thrown for more than 100 yards in a game.

So you play Georgia the best team in tge east over thr last decade. For the first time in 8 years outside the SEC championship game and that supposed to be fair??? Love you gumps to death!!! Think about it. It took the richest conference 6 years to make a permanent schedule, all the while Bama got a pass from the best team in the east........Umm yeah
