Has South Carolina (USC is Southern Cal) really not beat Auburn in football in 80 years?

I want to take a moment to note that Tennessee was a university before Texas was even a twinkle in Sam Houston's eye.
Apparently this argument is pointless. Everyone loves to say USC is only in Southern Cal when really U of South Carolina was a university way before California was a state. I mean come on, there are multiple schools with the same abbreviation. 2 USCs, 2 UTs, 2 UAs, 3 OSUs, 2 UMs, 2 MSUs, etc. Its stupid really.

Hope y'all notice I waited until the UT game to cut the fool. I like Tennessee and their fans.

Rocket, Georgia was my first favorite college team and Carolina is my alma mater. Thus, I pull for both and keep up with both and watch both on TV.

Does auburn (most know them by Alabama's little brother) really have a losing record to VANDERBILT?

Yes, Vanderbilt is 21-20-1 against Auburn all-time with nearly half of those wins coming in the last 80 years. That should tell you something about South Carolina.

Eh no it doesn't. USC actually has a winning record over Vandy. Sorry you tried to use the transitive property and it didn't work out for ya. Nice try though!

When I was in Tennessee, USC meant South Carolina. Now that I live in Colorado, USC means Southern Cal. Same with UT.

But CNB and I have had a conversation about this, actually. While South Carolina has been a university for longer than California has been a state, I don't think the abbreviation "USC" came into effect until the early 1900s, after Southern Cal was established.

But that's nitpicking in any event. I've just gotten to the point where I refer to schools as "Tennessee," "South Carolina," "Georgia," etc. rather than abbreviations.

False. The name was changed from South Carolina College to the University of South Carolina in 1865 I believe, which is still before Southern Cal was established.

We've played a grand total of 7 games since '92, 3 times we started a QB under the influence and a 4th we started a backup (due to injury) who never saw another snap.

Quick question- which team in the SEC was the last to go 0-8?

Actually Texas originally went by "Texas University" as their jargon name. It was only in the 20's that they decided to really go by "UT" to be "University of Texas" though that is their real name. They made the change to make themselves sound more elitist (shock). That's why Aggies still call them "tu" just like our fight song still refers to them as "Varsity" which was their original nickname before they stole the name of our yearbook and became "Longhorns".

There are very few traditions that Texas has that they did not get from A&M actually. Their mascot both naming themselves "Longhorn" and "Bevo" because we stole their steer and branded it. Their hand signal was copying ours. "Texas Fight" is a response to "Farmer's Fight". The Hex Rally is a response to Bonfire. It goes on and on. Most unoriginal group of asses on the planet.

Pretty sure Tennessee has always been UT.

UT was a college before Texas was a state.

The biggest city in Texas (Houston) is named after the former governor of Tennessee.

If it wasn't for the Vols, Texas would be speaking spanish right now.

Ps. How many 10 win seasons does USCjr. have in their entire history? How many Division titles? How many SEC Championships? How many National titles? How many bowl appearences? How many all-time wins?

These are all great questions. Did you know that if we win this Saturday, we'll have a better conference record than the Vololol's since 2000?

That doesn;t surprise me, have you seen our teams in the past 5 years? It also doesn't concern me, because football is cyclical. We'll be back soon enough, and ya'll will be back where you belong at the bottom. And also, you still have to beat us for that to happen
