Wait til July and the offseason will almost be over...the UT hillbillies will be working over time to convince us and themselves that they finally, finally this time have made it back and are now turning the corner that had 14 straight edges to it. It will be unbearable and then they wonder why they are hated so much?
They beat Vandy and UK and jizz themselves. That backsided schedule sure does help them. Its sad.

UT will be favored to beat UF by 14 and will cover the spread easily.

Mizzou 5-7 (1-7 SEC)
South Carolina 3-9 (1-7 SEC)
North Texas 1-11 (1-7 CUSA)
Kentucky 5-7 (2-6 SEC)
Vandy 4-8 (2-6 SEC)
*Northwestern 10-3 (6-2 BIG)
*Did not play Ohio St. OR Michigan St.
*Lost to the 2 other best BIG teams, Michigan and Iowa, by a combined score of 78-10

We played who was on our schedule...would we rather have lost to northwestern then? No we beat #13 in a bowl by almost 40 points

weird isn't it, 4 years ago you lost to a crap new guy team that barely sniffed a conference win, this year you beat the gayZou handily..
how would Tenn be further down now than then?
rant can't even remember recent history.

Thank you.
3 years ago, we had just come off our 3rd consecutive 5-7 season, and our 6th consecutive 6 or more loss season. That was rock bottom. It has NEVER been that bad in the history of our program. Every other fanbase that's represented in this thread, except for maybe Alabama, would give their left nut to have a rock bottom that shallow.
We never went winless in the conference, unlike some teams (Looking at you Ole Miss and Arkansas fans). We've NEVER lost 8 games in a season. Nobody else in this conference can say that.

Only one other team can say that

You guys get to play Vandy and Kentucky every year.
That's like growing up in a whorehouse and bragging about losing your virginity first.

We played the #13 team in the nation, with a 10-2 record in a major conference not named the ACC or the Big 12, that shut down Stanford earlier in the year, and we beat them by 40. Whether they're overrated or not, that's impressive.

Why would you consider it a negative for Tennessee to place all of its easy games at the end of the season? If anything it makes it makes the schedule more difficult - no time to rest for all the important games in the first half.

less see, knocked pinkel-mizoos butt out, helped get Richt fired, made sure the OBC quit and without Fleurda and their pedroid QB would have knocked them out too..
not that bad a year I'd say.
