Has SEC+ stream replaced the Alternative SEC Network Channel for upcoming game viewing?

Does this mean they are only showing games on the SEC Network and not using the Alt Channel(s) anymore? The upcoming game listings seem to indicate we have to go to a steaming service either with SEC and/or ESPN for the games that were usually put on the SEC Alt channel.

Can anyone enlighten me on what to expect this season as far as watching the games? It was nice to have that ALT channel to watch pretty much everything in the SEC over the years, the games that weren't on the major networks.

NO GAMES ON ALT, JUST THE STREAM INSTEAD FOR THOSE

9/2 - 8:00 PM Bowling Green Tennessee SEC Network
9/4 - 12:00 PM UL Monroe Kentucky SEC Network
9/4 - 2:00 PM Rice Arkansas SEC Network+ | ESPN+
9/4 - 3:30 PM* (1) Alabama (14) Miami ABC
9/4 - 4:00 PM Louisiana Tech Mississippi St ESPNU
9/4 - 4:00 PM Cent Michigan Missouri SEC Network
9/4 - 7:00 PM Akron Auburn SEC Network+ | ESPN+
9/4 - 7:00 PM E Illinois S Carolina SEC Network+ | ESPN+
9/4 - 7:30 PM* (5) Georgia (3) Clemson ABC
9/4 - 7:30 PM FAU (13) Florida SEC Network
9/4 - 8:00 PM Kent State (6) Texas A&M ESPNU
9/4 - 8:00 PM ETSU Vanderbilt SEC Network+ | ESPN+
9/4 - 8:30 PM (16) LSU UCLA FOX
9/6 - 8:00 PM* Louisville Ole Miss ESPN

I would be surprised if any football games are streaming only. ALT channel is there if there are multiple games on at the same time that aren't aired on another network.

It's confusing. I've seen the Auburn-Akron game schedule for EPSN+ / SECN+. Is the SECN+ the Alt channel or do I need SEC+ to watch?

None of the games are listed on the Alt. Something about a new steaming service in addition to the ESPN+. Surprised nobody knows. Will be a shock if we have to stream a lot of these games.

So SECN+ is streaming only, but you don't need ESPN+ to watch. Thanks for the link.

Thanks but not good. No games are listed on the Alt channel the first weeks, only the SEC+, so it looks like you have to stream now.

That stinks on ice.

Looks like Arkansas, Auburn, South Carolina and Vandy fans will have to stream instead of going to the ALT channel the initial week.

Is anyone else not a huge fan of watching games on Fox? It’s weird to me. The commentators. The format of the score and all. Just not my favorite. Hard to beat that late ESPN slot.
