What is it with Tennessee fans and Gruden? Is there some sort of connection there I don’t know about? Seems like ever since Phil got wished the best of luck on his future endeavors that every time there’s the discussion of a coaching change in Knox, Gruden is at the top of the wish list and the name always floated around.

This. Gruden spent one year at UT as a graduate assistant. Is that his only connection? Not exactly coming home to the alma mater.
