He cant win games anymore, so he succumbs to trolling other coaches and letting a 19 year old run his football program for 3 years.

Doesn't he have the second best record of any SEC coach over the last 4 seasons?

And exactly zero titles of any kind, even counting division titles. Big whoop.

He's 0-2 against a coach who couldn't beat Muschamp and even worse...couldn't beat Dooley.

Having to change your question after your original inquiry was quickly rebuffed?

he flops on the big stage

Actually we've done quite well on the big stage, it's the little ones we get snagged on.

eta: Just 2 seasons ago he brought our school with little to no history of note its first top 5 finish. 2 seasons. Relax. I know you guys all hope you've seen the last of great Spurrier seasons. It would make it a lot easier, especially for UGA.

I'm convinced he doesn't really care anymore. He seems very comfortable at USCe.

We dont hope. He looks like a man beaten down that cares more about Golf than running a competent football team. If he was the legendary coach of old, he wouldnt have sucked off Clowney and let him do as he pleases.

Yep,look at USC's history before he got there. He has done a temendous job there.

As far as his jabs,I can take them better now than when he was at Florida.

Some Coaches have ability to build programs to new heights(arguably the GOAT in terms of accomplishments at 3 schools), others are only mediocre to decent until they get to a major power, the second group are also often midgets.

In the last 4 years, we've won twice as many division titles as SC has won in their existence.

Spurrier is one of the great football coaches... He may be entering his "Metallica" years, but he's still a boss...

Me too. The jabs are a little less rustle-worthy when he's not kicking your arse with regularity.

Didn't bama have some coaches who fall before ever coaching a game? That's pretty bad, probably worse than Spurrier. I wouldn't say Spurrier has fallen much. He's just coasting and has been for a long time. Fans want/need to win more than Spurrier needs to win. Why does he need to win?

The OBC will have to beat the networks away from his door when he hangs up his whistle at last. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a bidding war for him to be analyst.
