Not going to lie, there is a Golden Corral in Flowood and I have never seen a white person in the parking lot. We have a Popeyes across from it that I frequent on the way home from work so I look at their parking lot a lot

Not in Mississippi. The last one we had closed about 9 years ago on Ridgewood Road.

I don't remember Shoney's ever having TVs. The only Ryan's I ever ate at in Kentucky didn't have a TV. This must be a recent change.

Want to know if anyone has experiences of watching an SEC game at another buffet chain like Golden Corral or Shoney's.

No, but I did watch a Jefferson Pilot game on a rabbit ear TV in the waiting room of a oil change place years ago.

I'm just making an educated anouncement. Black folks seem to tear that place up. Have never spoken to a white person who has eaten at one. I've always been told their food is just a notch above prison fare.

I'm confused. Are you saying there are no Golden Corrals in Louisiana or were you talking about black people?

I almost watched a game at Ruth's Chris....Almost. However, I was so disgusted by the lower class people that inhabit that establishment and the sub-par selection of steaks that I threw my napkin on my plate and stormed out.

I remember watching some of the 1990 Iron Bowl at Shoney's while on our way to a NKOTB concert. No homo.

There are several Copelands restaurants in the Atlanta area. The one in Smyrna attracts a lot of LSU and Saints fans for games. Nice place, although the brunch costs more than in NOLA.

That's not really surprising.
