Most Ala fans admitted that ULM was the better opponent mid way through the 4th quarter.

It doesn't bother me at all. My team won the national championship. It would have been nice to win the SEC title as well but I think a national title is a pretty good consolation prize, don't you?

Last time I truly felt a team was head and shoulders better than Bama and we lost was vs Fla in SEC title game on 2008.
Dont feel Auburn was head and shoulders better than Bama even with Cam. They had the best player on the field but everything else seemed pretty even....that loss still hurts btw lol
The Utah loss ..man...the team just didnt want to play...sour by the Fla loss I guess. Still perplexed by how unmotivated that team was with 1 loss as opposed to the 3 loss team that destroyed Mich St in the Cap One bowl.

I'll never forget after the game in T-town in 2002, I was waiting for my wife to come out of the restroom and an older Bama fan walked up to me and started a converstion. He said they had played Oklahoma that year and told me that LSU was the best team he had seen in that stadium on probably 25 years, Bama teams included.

It's not that, It's just some fan bases feel that there is no way their team will ever be defeated by a superior team because there are no such teams. I was just shocked when the Bama fan said that was the best team he had seen in 25 years.
