Nick Saban and Bear Bryant have won as many national championships in their coaching tenure as LSU, Tennessee, and Florida combined.
Tennessee claims 6 national titles, Florida 3, and LSU 3 (could claim 7 if they claimed the same type of titles Tennessee and Alabama do). Even given that LSU doesn't, you're still wrong. LSU, Florida, and Tennessee have 12 combined. Bear and Nick have 10 combined

If Alabama claimed titles the way opposing fans say they do, they would claim 19.

What Tennessee fan? We know we've sucked for awhile. I think most agree we are headed in the right direction, but wouldn't say we're relevant as of this moment

I think the NCAA gives us like 24 or some crazy number

If Alabama claimed titles the way LSU does, they'd have far less than 15. so what's your point?

And fwiw, Saban is not the 2nd best coach of all time yet. He still has guys like:
Tom Osborne - 3 national titles in 4 years, 255-49 overall record, 160-23 conference, 13 conference titles in 25 years
Robert Neyland - 6 undefeated seasons, 4 national titles, 173-31 overall record
Barry Switzer - 8 straight conference titles (12 overall), 3 national titles, 100-11 conference record, 57-29 overall
Bud Wilkinson - won 47 straight games, 13 straight conference titles, 93-9 career conference record, 145-29 overall, 3 national titles
Better than all of them, Frank Leahy won five national titles in a ten year span - a ten year span that included two years in which he quit coaching to go serve in World War II. He has two other years in which he had a solid claim to a national title (1941 and 1953) but didn't.
Career record of 107-13-9, coached four Heisman Trophy winners (and recruited a fifth), six undefeated seasons in thirteen years as a head coach.

LSU is the only program to win multiple BCS championships with DIFFERENT COACHES.
the LSU program is bigger than coaches.
the LSU program is bigger than coaches.

It's because of that ridiculous 1941 title claim

Two of the greatest coaches ever. Count your blessing because on the other hand y'all have had some God awful ones as well With that being said, in my opinion the hiring of Kiffin will be the downfall of Saban. Those two ego maniacs will turn on each other soon enough. Take that to the bank.

University of Texas Longhorn baseball
Augie Garrido (current all-time victories leader)
Cliff Gustafson (all-time victories leader when he left Texas in 1996)
Texas Longhorn baseball (except for three years during WWII) has had four baseball head coaches since 1911.

Kentucky has had Adolph Rupp, Rick Petino, and John Calipari. Maybe not the best ever, but that's a solid list.
