I'm not one of those conspiracy theory guys, but that year, 2012 I believe, in which Bama never had a holding call was straight up BS. If you're an O-Linemen you aren't trying if you aren't holding.

Mark Richt is despised by SEC refs ever since he called his whole team out on the field against Florida. After that play the ref gave UGA a 30 yard penalty and the refs have been piling on ever since.

I think it was two years ago if i remember correctly but it was the iron bowl. Time ran out but the refs put one second back on the clock to give auburn a shot to run it back against a field goal kicker everone knew would miss

Bama's only loss in 2012 was at home to A&M with a controversial "head bob" to draw Bama offsides that lost them the game.
That would've cost them their national championship that year had KSU not lost to some scrub.
ETA: and I don't even recall Bammers bitching about it. They were actually very congratulatory. They have been the nicest fan base to A&M since we've joined.

2012 Bama/A&M, A&M is punting and Bama will get one last chance with about 40 seconds left and probably good field position. Ben Malena does a little head bob, Bama jumps and they call Bama for offsides ending the game. Replay clearly showed Malena should have been called for a false start.

I missed that game; had to work that day. I've yet to actually watch it.
