Sorry lil fella. Your fanbase is inferior to AU's by a LOT.

Fair or unfair. Unfortunately for Alabama, a lot of people will associate him as the Bama fanbase.

It is pretty fair. The day it came to light, I read two gump message boards and the GENERAL sentiment from the gump boards was thinking it was funny and pride in Ole Harvey. Sure there were gumps that did not like it, but the overall tone was not one of dissaproval for what Harvey did. At all.
It changed when everyone started condemning it nationally, but the initial gump message board reaction to Harvey's actions was positive, supportive or humor with a minority condemning it.

This guy was not born in Alabama. Didn't attend the University of Alabama. Didn't have any family attend the University of Alabama. He didn't even move to the state of Alabama until he was 50 years old.
He is not representative of the Bama fan base.
His dad died when he was three years old. He clearly has mental issues. He's basically the equivalent of a retarded kid loving a team because they are winning.

Alabama has just as many true fans [from the state, either went there or family went there] as any other team. We just have a whole lot of other fans because we win so much.

The difference is there are more bama fans. Which in turns me more rednecks. Dont kid yourself buddy, your school is located in lee county alabama, hundreds of miles from any metropolitan city. Your fanbase is redneck.
