Harbaugh. Even though he's annoying as shite, he's the next Nick Saban/Urban Meyer type at Michigan.

Everything is a priority for him. Defense, the passing game, the running game, recruiting, his hands' on it all. I have no doubt in my mind that Michigan will be back to the elite it once was. Plus last year he was around the same age Miles was when he first got hired at LSU, so you are looking at 10 years at least of smart, thorough, and dominant football.

Harbaugh is a really good coach, but so far he has an Orange Bowl win. That puts him just under Freeze level who has a Sugar Bowl and a couple Bama win

You've got some foresight though right? You can't seriously tell me after looking at his Stanford teams and what he did at Michigan year one, that you'd take Miles over him for future football purposes. That's not saying that Miles will do bad, but I expect Harbaugh to be really good and is 10 years younger.

This feels like it COULD be Nick Saban all over again. Harbaugh built Stanford like Saban built the modern version of LSU, left for the NFL (in hindsight Saban actually did much better in his one year than he is given credit for), and now is back in college at a traditional powerhouse trying to raise it from the mediocrity it was before him. He even runs his team similar in style of offense with a tough defense.

Now I'm not saying he's going to win 4 national championships in 7 years or anything like that, but expect them to be a f**king bitch to play in the near future and will be in the playoffs several times and win some of them.

Les is solid....Harbaugh has potential.....Of the two, I'd have to take Les.

Not sure if he's a top 3 coach. Top 5? Definitely.

Even though he likes to troll a lot I would go with Harbaugh, he seems to be the definition of a players coach and he can get the most out of any player.

With all due respect, any reasonable administration and fanbase would kill for a coach like Les, nobody can dismiss the things he brings to the table when it comes to coaching and building a program.

But has Harbaugh truly not been a just an okay coach? He took Stanford as about as far as he could meaning no Championship and had a San Fran team that should have at least won 2 SB's. Yeah, give me Miles. Until he wins the big one he ain't done shite!!

Explain your reasoning? You'd take Les Miles with Bama talent over Jim Harbaugh with Bama talent for the foreseeable future?

How long would Harbaugh actually stick around though?

How long would Miles? Harbaugh already had his taste of the NFL so I highly doubt he goes back unless he runs out of options and has to be a QB coach or something. Miles is 62 and unless he had an epiphany, is still hard headed in developing QBs and a passing game.
