Really it was the LSU fans concern about diverting resources that changed my mind. I too am glad they did not put football about lives.

We've done it before. USCe did it last year during the flooding

Different situation. You're comparing a cat 4 hurricane affecting millions to flooding in certain areas of one state.

The only reason the game was even moved was because we were under a boil water advisory and couldn't promise clean water for the game.

I'm glad Florida was able to make the right decision. I know their AD, coaches, and players wanted to play this game.

How are you even able to type while jerking off the Gators so furiously? Bravo

There has been precedence set for this scenario numerous times prior to this event that worked. The excuses provided by the University of Florida are unacceptable. It demonstrates their stubbornness and political meandering to not be placed in seemingly negative scenario for a football game. The decision is not based on the overall safety of fans and players. That is an outright lie!

Good luck to Florida, the state, not the university or football team. This is a very BAD hurricane. I pray for all potentially impacted.

Just because poor decisions were made in the past doesn't mean that Florida needed to make another one now
