I know it's hard to tell a lot from these games but fans who know their teams can tell some things. For Alabama:

1. Offense looked good first half, defense second half, not sure what that means.
2. Running backs look really good.
3. First string OL looks good but no depth.
4. Still not getting perfect snaps.
5. No kicker impressed.

What about your team?

Our defense will wear down offenses.

Was surreal to see Nick Saban come walking through the press box during the A-Day game. He hasn’t lost his wit. He saw veteran Baton Rouge-based journalist Glenn Guilbeau and cracked with a big smile, “What are you doing here? They kick you out of Louisiana?”

I’m watching ours now, it’s difficult to take much from these scrimmages but I believe we’ll be fine at qb and rb and tight end. The line is looking better but it’s against a 2 defense.

Defense looks good but we thought that last year about them and the oline.

There is a better attitude this year and Petrino will be a huge asset for Sam all around.

I still refuse to drink the kool aid until the season progresses.

LSU baseball plays for national championships. Not winning by our standards becomes an “if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it” type situation.

Kind of like when Bama embarrassed the SEC not once but twice in the final four this season. Not just embarrassed, humiliated.

Don't know yet, but I do know every ranter is frantically trying to get LHN before Saturday so they can see what's coming. \m/

Our DL is deep… our OL isn’t. Nothing shocking
