What's going on with the bats this year? It seems like a lot of SEC teams are having this problem.

I expect a lackluster hitting effort that will doom us going forward even with our outstanding Friday night starter.

I expect to continue to have no position players taller than 5'10" because our head coach doesn't like to recruit players that physically intimidate him.

I expect our fans to continue to complain about our hitting coach but nothing to be done about it because he is the head coaches godson.

I expect our head coach to be a whiny bitch and blame everyone but himself for the failings of the team.

At this point, a regional appearance somewhere would be nice.

I would take a regional appearance. If we could stop having multiple 4 error games a week, we could maybe be a 2 seed.

I agree completely project. This shite is getting old under paul, he whines and cries and for every great year he produces he manages to shite it up the next year with the exception of 08 and 09.

I expect a disappointed fan base that had unrealistic expectations from the jump. I do expect to be teased that we could have a decent team and then get squat in return.

A week ago, hosting a regional because I thought the players had bought in. Now, not so much.

If Alabama takes this road series in College Station, I'm a believer. The road has not been kind for a young, rebuilding program. Alabama needs a series like this with a backloaded schedule.

Now that Alabama baseball is ranked, I care about college baseball and am an expert. College baseball is nationally relevant and important to the Alabama fan base. I expect greatness.
