No way to know -- but that is what the other conferences say now -- too bad they couldn't beat anyone for 7 years in the BCS game.
We might have even more -- maybe AU would have won in 2004 =-- who the hell knows????

Winning 2 big time games against big time opponents is obviously a hell of a lot harder than just 1.

SECCG + BCSNCG = what you are talking about.

I'll give you 07 LSU, but 06 UF, 08 UF, 09 Bama, 10 Auburn, 11 Bama, and 12 Bama were definitely the best teams in the country in their respective seasons.

If u were in an airplane with only 2 parachutes and u had 1 and Larry and PPhil were in the plane too, planes' motor quits. Who gets the other parachute?

The correct answer wins a six pack of PBR.

LSU 2007 would have definitely lost and a few other teams probably lose too. It's a shame but now we get to see true champions from now on.

LSU and Georgia would have probably been the title game.

And without the BCS Alabama doesn't win the national title in 2011. We can all play what if.

'11-12 Bama were overrated.

Pretty ridiculous thing to say. Both those teams were superior to 09 Bama, despite the fact 09 Bama didn't have a loss.

The ironic thing is that the undefeated SEC BCS champions (98 Tennessee, 09 Bama, 10 Auburn) are some of the weakest teams compared to the others that actually had losses IMO.

Going undefeated is vastly over-rated by the average joe. It often comes down to scheduling and dumb luck.

I mean look at Ohio State this year, they have a horrible loss to a horrible Va Tech team, and yet they are still clearly one of the best teams in the country.

2011 Bama backed into the title game, and shouldn't have. 2012 Bama beat a high school team. They might have been the best teams those years, or maybe not.

If it had been 4 years later, they probably wouldn't have even made it in the talks since at that time, they graded you by best wins, not best losses.
