that should get more views as i said before - that's crazy, to think an OC 5 yrs removed from being a HS coach could make the money of Mack Brown, Spurrier, Richt, etc etc.

yea, that figure isn't happening. and in all honesty...gus isn't worth that amount.

Ive said all along that there is 0% chance Gus would ever consider the Vandy job, but jeez, if this turns out to be accurate then he needs to take that job.
Of course, he will get fired in 5 years for not winning, but that is 15 million that pretty much changes his family tree.

With so many inaccurate reports coming out about coaches/jobs, it's hard for me to blindly believe Vandy is throwing 3 Mil at Malzahn

If they are going to spend 3mil on Gus are they going to go cheap on assistants? That would be fine on the offensive side of the ball, but defensively you need a pretty solid coach. I think that Vandy may believe he could make them competitive and it would be worth it.

Which is why he won't do it. I doubt that figure is true, but even if he did go there is no way he advances from there, unless they're really good at fabricating what their future goals are. I think gus is a great coach and i fully expect him to be gone after this year...I just want more from him than wasting away at vandy hoping for a 3 star qb to pick vandy to give him a chance at winning 8 games.

I heard Vandy was going for the Navy coach. I think it would be good for them to bring the triple option to the SEC since nobody runs it
