All ribbing aside though, UGA is the team from the SEC in the best position to make the playoff by far.

If Georgia Tech is the mutts little brother, it must suck to know lil bro has a higher ranked academic institution than you, a national championship in football more recently than you, a historically better men's basketball program than you, and a consistently better baseball program than you

I agree we are. However, are we the best team? It's actually very hard to tell. We haven't had to go through the gauntlet the West teams have had to go through this year, so that is the reason we will probably have th best record. We will have a clearer picture after we play Auburn, and, hopefully after the SECCG. Only time will tell. Crap....what are the odds every team in the west would be stacked all at the same time? It was the perfect storm brewing....

Why? Vanderbilt is ranked higher than you, along with several other schools. Does that make you feel worse when Auburn beats them all the time?
