So no proof just something from a dealer who can't back up his claim
I would go with that. It worked for A&M. I would think that that would be above Moral High Ground U though. I guess when the shoe is on the other foot.......

1/2 game suspension, UGA "educates" Gurley, pays back the $400 and everything's back to normal.
Manziel's behavior pretty much did awY with 1/2 game suspensions. What happened if in that game Georgia is losing (far stretch I know( ) and Girley comes in and wins the game. Then he is celebrated for being punished kind of like JFF against Rice last year.

Look for a two to four game, if they find money. If all they get is the Johnny football excuse and proof, half to one game.
Mostly this, but probably 2 games max unless they can prove a lot more money than $400.

Lawyer up, dawg.
And this dealer who snitched ought to be severely beat down.

Only problem with lawyering up like Johnny did is the timing. It took the NCAA a month to deal with JFF but it was off season.
A month now costs him a minimum of 4 games.
In this case, the HaHa Clinton-Dix model is the correct response. Confess your sins (the ones you think they can prove), pay it back, and be back on the field before Halloween.

Gurley should tell the NCAA to shove it and walk away.
He easily can go pro- NCAA needs him more than he needs them

That dude was a POS and had it coming. JJ should have been kicked off the team for it but I don't like the way you worded that.

NCAA needs gurley? Lmfao

Its a bullshite rule anyway. If someone is willing to purchase his signature more power to him. Its not like hes accepting money from an agent or taking bribes that would end his status as an amtuer athlete.I dont think he should miss any games.

@darrenrovell: Update: Authentication company JSA authenticated at least 500 Gurley signatures (300+ jerseys, 70+ photos, 30+ mini helmets)
Posted on 10/10/14 at 1:28 am to beaver
Rovell faps to authentication companies, but who cares. It's all circumstantial as its not illegal to sign memorabilia for free
Either there is a smoking gun (evidence of pmt) or there isn't

Not sure it was ever proved he did it. Yes there was shitty video of a black guy wearing clothes, kicking someone.
Either way this is stupid. Shepard got a 4 game suspension for talking to a teammate during an investigation at LSU where they found nothing.

quote:Less money per item.
So less money if he signed more?
If you want 10 items signed I will do it for $25 per item - $250.
If you want 50 items signed I will do it for $10/item = $500.
If you want 100 items signed I will do it for $8 item = $800.
That is a standard business practice, especially with private signings. Public signings (like at memorabilia shows) the athlete typically negotiates a flat rate and a limit of x number of items per autograph seeker. The promoter then charges each person a fee to get an autograph.
Some athletes/promoters charge different amounts based on the item. A trading card will be cheaper than a ball will be cheaper than a bat/helmet/jersey. They know what the market rate is for each item and will price accordingly.

Crazy that grown men pay for jerseys with signatures on them.
